Blessings

I am starting my blessings blog while Mattea is napping...BLESSING!!! Hopefully I'll be able to finish it before she wakes up!

As I sit here thinking of all the wonderful blessing the Lord has given it's hard to focus on one. Now yesterday I would have had a hard time thinking of any! Isn't it amazing how each day brings something different into our lives and how from day to day you can feel one extreme or the other? I am blessed to be able to be thankful for a God who loves me unconditionally. No matter my mood, happy, sad, angry or crabby!

I am blessed with three beautiful daughters. On "those days" (you know the days I am talking about) I need to remember that God has blessed me so much with them. They are loving, sweet, fun girls that I love to be with.

My wonderful husband. He puts up with my craziness and always supports me in that! He works hard for our family and loves me unconditionally.

New Begginings

So I am finally trying to get back into blogging. Since Facebook came along I haven't really used this. Well, here we go. Let's see if I can keep up with this!

I'll try and recap life:

We are now living in Fergus Falls. Crazy! I never really thought we'd end up here but we are loving living in a town where you can get from one end of the town to the other in about 7 minutes (that is if you get all green lights). We bought a really old fixer upper. I'm not kidding at all when I say that it's old and a fixer upper. The house was built in 1887 and it was pretty gross, but we are enjoying (some days) seeing things progress. It's slow in coming, but someday... At some point I will post pictures!

We also now have three girls! Mattea was born on April 15th. She is quite the Mama's girl! As we speak she is sleeping in my arms. I know I should put her in her crib, but honestly, I don't want to. She's too cozy, which is nice for this rainy day! She is a wonderful addition and blessing to us.

Mari is growing fast (too fast) and is starting Pre-K next week. We are so proud of the Godly girl she is becoming. She is my helper with so many things. It's going to be strange not having her around those mornings. I know she will love it and just soak up everything like a sponge!

Nadia is now "free" as she says. She is our spit fire! I love her energy and am trying to channel it to good! Since I was on bed rest with Mattea and then moved shortly after I am just now finally potty training. It is really unpleasant. She has a strong will that is hard to get through. I know that it will "click" with her if she'd let it.

So now hopefully I'll be able to post more often and thanks to a friend who has unknowingly inspired me, be able to post "blessings." I am totally copying this from her. What a wonderful thing. To sit down and write what she is blessed with. I love that idea and feel that it will help me focus more on what God has done for me that to sit and grip about silly things such as how much I hate doing laundry, which I do hate. I should be blessed that we live in a day in age where I don't have to wash clothes by hand and hang them up to dry. All we have to do is put them in the washing machine with soap, turn knob and there we go...

I will also try and post some pictures soon too.

Cute Baby!

Need I say more?

The Haircut!

Before

After

We finally cut Mari's hair. I was getting sick of having the daily battle of putting a pony tail in! Of course now she looks even older.

First Food

It sure didn't take long for Nadia to take to eating food. She loves it!

Silly, silly, silly girl

Mari is obsessed with lipstick (thanks Grandma Becky and Auntie Aimee). She will walk around for hours holding onto chap stick. She also picked out this outfit and personally I think that the use of the headband as a bow tie is hilarious!

Tub Time

Mari and Lili had a long hard day of playing and we ended our day with a much needed bath.

Happy Birthday Mitchell!

We celebrated Mitchell's birthday in early January. A Transformer theme which of course Kyle loved! We had a great time. Mari and Mitchell became good friends that day. Grandpa Lynn loved showing them the fish on the wall. Mari couldn't get enough of it.

The Bouncer

We received this bouncer when Mari was born but really didn't have a great place to use it, but now that we do Nadia loves it! She will actually sit in there for more than 15 minutes playing. That's amazing for her!

Time with Grandma Bonnie

Grandpa and Grandma Mueller were able to spend some time with us after Christmas and Mari and Nadia (as well as Kyle and I) loved being with them. Mari loves to have her fingernails painted and so of course Grandma had to do it! Heaven forbid for Mommy to do anything for her while Grandma is around!

Snuggly Wuggly

I think these pictures speak for themselves....cute, cute, cute!

Frosty & Crystal

Mari is obsessed with Frosty the Snowman and she loves the one where he gets married to Crystal so over Christmas Kyle went out with the kids and made "Frosty" and "Crystal." They has a great time playing in the snow.

Christmas, Christmas, Christmas!

Once again three Christmas celebrations! It was exhausting and a blast all at the same time. Kyle the girls and I had our own little Christmas where we had a "fancy" dinner as Mari calls it, with candles (which is what made it "fancy"). Christmas Eve and Day were spent with the Nordlund clan. I do mean clan. 10 kids 8 and under....wow! The fact that we actually got all the kids to take a picture is a miracle! We spend New Year's Eve and Day with the Pevestorf's. That too was a little nutty, but we all missed Karla, Erik and Leah. We are just so thankful to be able to celebrate our Saviors birth!

Making Christmas Cookies

Mari loved making cookies with Auntie Aimee. She LOVED doing the sprinkles. Of course eating them was her favorite. She actually did a really good job and we had a lot of fun.

Getting Ready for Christmas

So Mari didn't start out too excited to help put up the Christmas tree, but the further it got a long the more she wanted to do. Personally I think it's hilarious that Kyle is doing all the work and Mari is sitting there on the couch watching.

Some time in Missouri

We spent a few days in Missouri after Thanksgiving. I has some pictures of a wallaby, but they didn't turn out very well. Anyway, as usual we had a great time visiting with Grandpa and Grandma Mueller.
