Ok, so I realize that it has been a really long time since we've blogged. I am to blame. This is not really my cup of tea...I'd rather read a book! Anyway, I thought that I would at least do an update, only no picture...yet.
Life has been pretty busy around here. We sold our house in Shakopee last November and moved in with my parents for a few months. We finally bought a house and got it all ready to move in by March. We now live in Big Lake. It's about two miles from Monticello. It was a lot of hard work but Kyle did great. We love it here. It's nice to have a place to put everything again!
Other big news is that we are expecting our second child, another girl, in August! I don't know who is more of a surprise; Mari or this next little girl. We are getting very excited. It's nice also to have a completely different pregnancy. I'm hardly ever sick and so far no complications!
Kyle is working as hard as ever. He is at United Health Care in Edina doing programming and is also able to work part time at home for his old company Incentive Services. We are very blessed to have that extra income.
Mari is now 19 months old and quite a girl. She loves to talk, which I know is a complete shock to all of you! She loves babies and getting her toe nails painted. She also loves to put on jewelry. Talk about being a girl. Whenever we ask what color of something she wants, it's always pink. She loves to count to ten, but sometimes skips over four, I don't think she likes to say it! Her new thing is now to sing along to "Jesus Loves Me" and "The Wheels on the Bus". She always makes sure that we pray before we eat and is starting to say the prayer with us. She is such a little spunk, we love it. She's always into something! Keeping Mommy and Daddy on their toes!
Well I think that sums it up for now. We'll try and get pictures up soon.

Time with G & G Nordlund

Mari and I (sometimes Kyle too) spent a few days at my parents house while I was recovering from surgery on my foot. We are so thankful that we were able to have them close. We are also so thankful for Grandpa and Grandma Mueller who drove all the way from Missouri to help us out for a week. I know that Mari misses them.

Mari and Lili love being together, at least for a while. The usually start out with a few kisses and then maybe a glance or two and then they start to ignore each other. Of course there is always the exception when Mari would take Lili's puppy or Lili would take Mari's water. But I think in time these two will be great friends and co-conspiritors!

Cokato Corn Carnival

Aimee, Mari and I decided to play "hooky" and head to Cokato where the world (and by world I mean the little one that we grew up in) famous Corn Carnival was happening. Aimee took Mari on the Merry Go Round and she really did love it. Unlike the Merry Go Round and the zoo. But I think that Aimee may have enjoyed it a little more.Saturday, August 18, 2007

Como Zoo

On Saturday we once again were able to spend it with the Arney's. We met them at Como Zoo for the day. The girls were so good. They loved to look at all of the animals and people too. I think Mari's favorite was the giraffes. She kept looking at them going, "Ohhhh." We then were able to go and spend time with Auntie Kimberly. She let us go swimming in here pool and she even took us out to eat. Thank you Kimberly.
