A Day out in Shakopee

After being out watching the Shakopee's 150th Birthday Celebration kiddie parade and enjoying the sun and music Mari fell asleep midway through a diaper change!

For some reason Mari thought that Kyle's shoes were so fun to play with. So instead of pulling her away from the smelliness we just let her play with them so we could take pictures and embarrass her when she's older!

More Chubby Time!

Rocks!

Mari has a favorite game that she loves to play outside. It goes: See rock, pick up, insert into mouth, have Mommy pull rock out and say "No eating the rocks", Repeat. We can play this for a good half an hour.

Walking!

Mari is WALKING!!! She started walking at 8 1/2 months. She still has her moments of falling, especially when she's tired, but she sure does know how to get around and climb the steps!

Suprise Grandpa Wayne!

We had a surprise 60th Birthday party for my dad up in Bemidji. We invited a bunch of his cousins, aunts, uncles and nieces and nephews. It was a full house.

Bemidji

Last weekend the Nordlund family drove to Bemidji for a long weekend. We rented a house that actually can sleep all 17 of us comfortably. We went swimming in the indoor pool, stayed up playing games and went on a pontoon boat ride! Quite fun.

This and That

Mari loves to play with the clothes basket, especially when there are clothes in it. She has also mastered "So Big" which we think is pretty funny! There is also a rare picture of Mari sleeping, something that she doesn't do very often. As we speak she is screaming in her crib...NO NAP FOR HER (or me)!!!

Playtime!

Mari and I get together with Kristin and Lili a lot. Usually the girls will sit next to each other for about 5 minutes kissing and tackling each other and then they ignore each other for the rest of the time!
