Happy Halloween!

Halloween was a lot of fun this year. Mari had a hard time deciding what she wanted to be. She finally decided that a fairy princess would be great. She would be able to wear her tiara, wings and tutu. Plus make-up with "sparklers" in it. Nadia was a little ballerina. Thank goodness for hand me downs. Nadia stayed home with Daddy to hand out candy and Mari went with Mommy out trick or treating. We also made a homemade jack o'lantern pizza for the occasion. What a blast!

Nick Arrojo

My friend Kristin and I were able to go to Mall of America with our girls a few weeks back and got a chance to see Nick Arrojo from TLC's What Not to Wear! He gave us free hair consultations! It was so fun.

Pumpkin Carving Party!

We went to one of Kyle's cousins house for a pumpkin carving party. We all had a blast. Of course Mari was more interested in their dog than the pumpkins!

Sleeping at Auntie Aimee's

We all went to stay at Aimee's house a while back and both girls slept great! Of course Aimee's place is a little like a cocoon.

Nadia

Nadia is growing so fast. At her two month appointment she weighed 11 lbs 12 oz and was 23 3/4 inches long. She is an easy going baby unless she's hungry! She loves to coo and laugh and smile. She loves to "talk" to her big sister too.

Corn Maze

We were able to go to Glencoe to see some of Kyle's side of the family and go to a corn maze. Mari loved it. She kept right up with the "big" kids. Nadia slept the whole time. We had a blast with the maze, the "corn" box, face painting and hay ride.

LIP!

Mari had her two year wellness check at the doctors. I told her that if she was really good and did everything that the doctor told her we would go to Target and get a treat. I thought that maybe she would get a Veggie Tales movie or a toy of some sort. Well she saw make up and that was it. Two days later Mari decided that she would spread it all over her face. Of course that meant having to take a bath. That make up left a ring around our tub! Needless to say, the rest of the make up got thrown and we got her a little tiara instead.

Mari turns 2!

Trying to get Mari to look at the camera is getting more difficult. Every time I say look at the camera and say cheese, she looks somewhere else. It must be the two syndrome.
